Basic Lobster Tails

Ingredients

  • 4-6 lobster tails
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • Paprika

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375*.
  2. Lay your lobster tail flat on a cutting board, and with a sharp knife, slice down the middle of the back. (Be sure not to cut all thw way through the bottom of the shell). Gently open the shell like a book, exposing the lobster meat. Place your first two fingers under the meat and slowly pull it out of the shell. Add a little water to the baking dish to make sure the lobster tail won't stick.
  3. Brush melted butter on top and sprinkle with paprika to color.
  4. Bake for approximately 15-20 minutes. The meat should be white in appearance when fully cooked. Serve with lemon and melted butter.
